Yous should upgrade or employ an culling browser.

Enables NFC, DTV, and Dual SIM. Y'all might need to do more modifications or install additional APKs for DTV support, NFC might be ROM dependent or hardware dependent, it's enabled though.
Reboot to recovery (TWRP), run commands, enjoy?
adb vanquish "dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p50 of=/tmp/mmcblk0p50.bak"; adb pull /tmp/mmcblk0p50.bak wget https://github.com/NiteSnow/Motorola-G5-Plus-MODs/raw/chief/p50.mod.bin; adb push p50.mod.bin /tmp/p50.mod.bin; adb beat "dd if=/tmp/p50.modernistic.bin of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p50"

I highly doubt they work because the models lack the hardware
I agree, it doesn't cause whatever issues to take those extra options enabled but the dual sim mod does work, it has the contacts to be able to support dual sim. I but don't take another sim to test with correct this second. I'g going to look into adding an boosted IMEI for sim2 via QPST.

Hey I've got a question for ya, and i can't seem to find a straight reply in this forum. I've got the Moto G5 Plus X1687 as well, only no matter what rom I wink, i tin't get data to work every bit it should. I'1000 using Boost Mobile every bit my carrier. Any chance this could exist of use to me?

Would be awesome if you could get dual sim to work. Peradventure it can work with the aforementioned IMEI equally long as the second sim is a completely different provider / network? Such as sim i Verizon, sim two AT&T.I agree, it doesn't crusade any problems to have those extra options enabled only the dual sim mod does work, it has the contacts to exist able to support dual sim. I just don't accept another sim to test with correct this second. I'm going to look into calculation an boosted IMEI for sim2 via QPST.

Did information work on the stock rom? Did you do any PRL update or activation on the telephone? A PRL update normally gets the APNs needed for information service. You can also fill in your APN settings manually if necessary. Permit me know if information technology works or not. I'k interested in getting a g5+ to use on a sprint MVNO like boost.Hey I've got a question for ya, and i tin can't seem to find a straight answer in this forum. I simply did the whole: fastboot delete modemst1
fastboot delete modemst2
Rebooted the phone, permit it sit for a half hour, noticed data dorsum up and then flashed the rom of my choice. Mostly works every time, even if going back to a recovery backup doesn't practice the trick.
Now keep in mind that I'm not a pro, I just similar to think that I am, and based on what you meet here, you may want to dig a little deeper in the forums of XDA because if you do it my way, YMMV.
Happy flashing!

This is a Us XT1687. I tried fastboot erase modemst2 for expert measure and it didn't pull it back in.

Edit: I got the modern working later on I did it a second fourth dimension over writing the mmcblk0p50 file directly into the /dev/cake/ directory. I don't have a 2nd SIM or the dual sim ard tray all the same, so I can't test with a second SIM card.

No luck for me. I did the mod using Root Browser as I kept getting read only file system errors when trying to use the adb commands. I don't see annihilation dissimilar in the system menus on my Moto G5 plus on Sprint. I'm on build NPN25.137-83. Maybe information technology's because I'thou on a CDMA carrier?Edit: I got the mod working later I did it a 2nd fourth dimension over writing the mmcblk0p50 file directly into the /dev/block/ directory. I don't take a 2nd SIM or the dual sim ard tray nevertheless, so I can't exam with a second SIM card.
One indicator of possible future success is if you become to About phone in settings, you should come across the IMEI for SIM 1 and if y'all see 0 for the IMEI for SIM ii y'all're stuck where I am. If there's a existent number there you're at least further along than I made it. If y'all're at null, fifty-fifty if the second SIM works information technology won't register on a network.

Then, I'thousand at the same betoken. I got the dual sim card tray and activated a SIM on a different network. Only SIM one works. SIM ii is e'er searching for a network no matter which SIM is in the SIM two slot. I haven't tried fastboot erase modemst2 and flashing a stock ROM. Non sure if it'south worth the problem.I tin confirm the mod works and the second SIM slot is recognized and recognizes a SIM inserted into it, including its phone number. However I can't register on the network as the SIM 2 does not accept an IMEI prepare. Could anyone advise if it is possible to set a random IMEI for the 2d SIM slot? This is a Us XT1687. I tried fastboot erase modemst2 for practiced measure and it didn't pull it back in.

To get the Moto G5 Plus to be recognized by QPST, I had to kick to QCOM mode. Offset kick to recovery then select QCOM and start the telephone. I couldn't brand a Software Download backup using a CDMA sim card as I got an error stating "could non download PRL." I stuck in a GSM sim bill of fare and made a backup in Software Download. Although the backup said complete, the full progress stopped at 99%. I waited 10 to xv minutes then shut QPST down. I can read the software download backup QCN file per the guide in a Hex editor and found my IMEI 1 number. I don't know where the IMEI 2 number should be entered. Assuming the Hex location will brainstorm with 080A, I searched for this string and found information technology twice within the QCN file. Nosotros probably need a QCN backup file from a Moto G5 plus that has the IMEI 2 number written and then nosotros can search for information technology and overwrite it with our own. Since the Moto G5 Plus is a dual sim standby telephone, I believe IMEI 2 should be the same as IMEI ane.

Maybe a little progress. I tried post-obit this guide using QPST to enter an IMEI 2 for my Moto G5 plus: https://world wide web.androidbrick.com/ultima...agon-xiaomi-mi5-imei-and-baseband-repair-fix/To get the Moto G5 Plus to be recognized past QPST, I had to boot to QCOM mode. I remember it should work simply I may be wrong and would wait for someone with a considerable amount of experience in this area to annotate here. Merely aren't motherboards fairly expensive?Hmmm.. Would swapping out the motherboard with a dual sim one work?
